Sarasota County Notice of Public Comment Period - Substantial Amendments to Federal Fiscal Year 2021, 2022, and 2023 Annual Action Plans.

​​Sarasota County is proposing substantial amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, 2022, and 2023 Annual Action Plans, reallocating Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to address updated community needs and priorities.

​

The proposed amendment to the FY2021 Action Plan includes the reprogramming of $1,189.15 in unspent funds to support Affordable Housing Acquisition. For FY2022, Sarasota County proposes to reprogram a total of $929,010.85 to Affordable Housing Acquisition. For FY2023, the County proposes to reprogram $680,260.00 in unspent funds to Affordable Housing Acquisition, and Public Service.

A copy of the amended Annual Action Plans for FY 2021, 2022, and 2023 will be available for public review during the comment period at: herosrq.net/action-plan. Please email comments to CDBG@scgov.net or mail/drop-off written comments to the Housing Enhancement and Redevelopment Office at 4510 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34232. Hard copies may be available upon request by contacting the Housing Enhancement and Redevelopment Office.

All comments are due no later than 5PM on November 5th, 2025.
